Ein Ort für die Kunstsammlung Henkel

2017 – Düsseldorf, Deutschland

AUSSTELLUNG

DER NEUE CAMPUS

A NEW HOME

This concept imagines a home for the art collection of the company Henkel in Düsseldorf. Formerly closed off from the public this invention would give interested visitors the chance to experience the vast collection. It features post-war art with notable works by a long list of artists which includes Gerhard Richter, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol and a big selection of antique indigenous textile art from Africa and Asia from the 1400s.

Residing in the district of Düsseldorf-Bilk at the location of an old screw factory the campus seeks for a contemporary face while going back to Henkel‘s industrial roots.

Besides the collection museum the campus features artists studios, an exhibition hall for young artists, a multi-purpose hall, a book shop and a restaurant.
